He Must Increase But I Must Decrease

I saw this video a half hour ago...

and it floored me.

I cried with joy.

I cried with happiness.

I simply cried for this sweet soul.

It filled me with an abundance of grace, appreciation, and humility.

It reminded me of the usual things that one becomes thankful for when they see these types of things.

It forces you to pause and reflect.

I thank God for my life.

I thank God for my amazing family.

I want to thank my parents for working so incredibly hard to see my dreams come true.

It also reminded me of how badly I want to adopt and how I can't wait to be a mom.

I was going to ask for prayers for my evaluation but after I saw that little video...

it put some things into perspective.

My worries and my stresses in life are so insignificant.

It will work out.

Long lay the world in sin and error pining
Till he appeared and the soul felt it's worth
The thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices
For yonder brinks a new and glorious morn
Fall on your knees
O hear the angel voices
O night divine

  1. Hello,

Worldwide, nearly one million people succumb to suicide each year, a number that exceeds deaths from war and homicide combined. Today, the International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP) is sponsoring World Suicide Prevention Day in an effort to prevent suicide. To commemorate this day of suicide prevention and awareness, the USC Masters of Social Work program has built a collaboration with over 45 leading voices in the suicide prevention field who have contributed guest posts, podcast interviews, PSA’s, and resources for our “100 Voices for Suicide Prevention” campaign: http://msw.usc.edu/mental-health/100-voices-suicide-prevention-submissions/

Please help us raise awareness for this major public health issue by sharing this resource on your website. Again, if you are interested in participating in one or more of our National Suicide Prevention Week events, there’s still time! The schedule of events can be seen here: http://msw.usc.edu/mswusc-blog/mswuscs-national-suicide-prevention-week-schedule-events/

By working together to help eliminate the stigma, we can help people feel more empowered to seek support when they need it. We can all make a difference, so let’s start today!

  2. Yeah, it seems you enjoy the whole dental procedure. Honestly, I wasn’t embarrassed wearing my braces during my college years. Painful at first, but it’s manageable the following weeks. My cosmetic dentist in Beverly Hills told me that it’s for my own good. And it really turned out well because my crooked teeth were corrected and it boosts my self-confidence, too.
